An exciting opportunity has become available to join Allied Universal as a Security Control Centre Supervisor, working for a global financial business in London!
As an SCC Supervisor, you will be responsible for the SCC proactive service delivery, operator management and performance. As well as liaising with the customer on a daily basis, during business hours and out of hours remote responsibilities at the site.
Contract Information:
Pay Rate: £18 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off. Flexibility required Monday to Sunday, day and night shift rotation.
Hours per week: 42 hours (average)
SIA Licences: Security Guarding or Door Supervisor, and CCTV licence
Experience: Over two years in a SSC, SOC or NOC Operator environment.

As a Security Control Centre Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- Managing the team through all security-related matters within the SCC operation for and on behalf of the Client, ensuring and managing compliance with all aspects of the SCC Assignment & Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensuring the protection of infrastructure, safety of personnel and that all actions of the SCC team have a positive impact on the reputation of AUS and our Client.
- Managing and coordinating the response to incidents, ensuring accepted lines of communication are adhered to all times.
- Self-review operational instructions & procedures.
- Ensuring SCC Operators always deliver high-level customer service.
- Managing physical Security systems, protection of client assets and people.
- Performance management and closely monitor SCC personnel’s Training and Development needs, working closely with the AUS Account Manager.
- Managing and delivering agreed service level agreements.
- Liaising with the AUS Account Manager through monthly audits on all SCC practices.
- Managing compliance with all Health & Safety legislation.
- Managing incidents, ensuring escalation in accordance with client specifications.
- Ensuring staffing levels are at compliant levels and leave requests are managed within agreed guidelines.
- Managing the SCC Operators on shift, ensuring the distribution of daily rotas, duties, and briefings on special Instructions.
- Ensuring Incident Reporting is of a high quality and delivered within agreed timelines.
- Promoting a secure and safe working environment throughout the operation through the implementation and continuous improvement.
- Managing the team in a good-spirited manner to achieve cooperation and encourage individuals to grow as part of a Team.
- Ensuring that all SCC equipment provided is fully operational with any issues reported.
- Proven experience as an SCC, SOC or NOC Operator or in a physical security environment
- A proven people manager.
- Proven ability and evidence of managing a team.
- Resource planning and excellent organisational skills.
- Hands-on experience with PSIM or SIEM platforms preferable, and a rudimentary technical understanding of SCC/SOC/NOC or control room functions.
- Knowledge of threat actor approaches, hands-on experience in physical security systems and assets, and familiarity with network security and monitoring tools.
- Two or more years of working in a security, physical or emergency operations centre environment.
- Some knowledge of common security frameworks, standards, and best practices would be beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of incident and crisis management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively to a high standard.
- Familiar in MS SharePoint and the MS Office productivity suite.
- Strong customer focus skills.
- £18 per hour
- 5.6 weeks holiday per year, 8 of these will be in lieu of bank holidays (subject to shift pattern and accrual)
